STORY BEHIND THE ARTWORK
Inspired by several photographs taken of blue tit's in Hyde Park, London. Susannah's tonal pencil drawing was digitally printed onto cotton/silk fabric and, using a combination of silky, matt and metallic fine machine embroidery threads, she hand-stitched colourful detail whilst retaining the monochrome drawing as the background.
