Inspired by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew with the addition of Hummingbirds.
Tropical plants, orchids, angel trumpet flowers and butterflies from Kew Gardens Palm House and the Prince of Wales Conservatory, combined with bright hummingbirds and caterpillars.
Kew Gardens Great Pagoda, peacocks and ducks with an aeroplane passing overhead in the distance, a scene created from my many trips to these beautiful gardens.
Waterlily House was the inspiration. I was fascinated by the dark markings on the lily pads and the mixture of lotus and other exotic plants, fish swimming freely, and frogs hopping from pad to pad.
The first design of this collection. Chrysanthemums entangled amongst vines and small rose heads, with embroidered ladybirds adding a tiny flash of colour.
