Original Embroidery Paintings

Susannah's artworks combine tonal pencil drawing with delicate hand embroidery. Often working from her own photographs she draws tonal illustrations, these are scanned and printed onto cotton/silk fabric which she stitches colour and textured detail into. Hand stitching she mixes matt and metallic machine embroidery threads to create fine detail.

Each piece has taken many hours to create and is one-of-a-kind and cannot be replicated.
