STORY BEHIND THE ARTWORK
Inspired by the pelican's seen at St James's Park, London. Susannah's tonal pencil drawing was digitally printed onto cotton/silk fabric. Using a combination of silky, matt and metallic fine machine embroidery threads, she hand-stitched colourful detail.
