STORY BEHIND THE ARTWORK
Drawing from a photograph Susannah took of a jackdaw bird in Greenwich Park, London. Her tonal pencil drawing was digitally printed onto cotton/silk fabric. Using a combination of silky, matt and metallic fine machine embroidery threads, she hand hand-stitched detail and texture and embellished with seed beads and sequins.
